Fundraising Commitments:
The Mount Royal Conservatory provides our core program - weekly rehearsals, two major concerts during the year (Christmas and Spring). Mount Royal Choral Association (MRCA) is the parent-owned group providing the enrichment program for our choristers. Our program could not run without the commitment of many dedicated and enthusiastic parent volunteers. We need chaperones, fundraisers, music librarians, drivers, uniforms. Many parents fill our volunteer requirements, then offer more for tours and camp! The skills, enthusiasm and experience of our parent volunteers makes this part of the choral experience a memorable and worthwhile commitment.
Incidentals:
Additional costs may be needed from parents depending on whether the choir is touring, participating in a festival or having a year-end party. This will be determined as the season progresses.
